The Pumpers Are In!
The new Pierce Arrow XT twin pumpers which have been in the works for some time now have finally arrived.  The pumpers are state-of-the-art apparatus that will replace our current twin 1988 Pierce Lance pumpers. The Wagon Committee is currently working on getting equipment mounted and drivers trained on the new pieces.  Again, a huge thanks goes out to all involved with the design, purchase, and delivery of the pumpers.

Stay tuned for more developments.

Final Inspection of New Pumpers
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 07:00
-
Seven members of the Department flew out to the Pierce Factory in Appleton, Wisconsin to complete the final inspection of our 2 new pumpers.  We put in 3 hard days of work to ensure that they were perfect.  We left them with a list of some minor issues and we expect to take delivery of them within the next two weeks.  The Department would like to thank our Committee for all of their hard work and commitment to designing these state of the art pieces of apparatus which are the first 2010 Arrow XT pumpers off the line.  We would also like to thank the Pierce Representatives for all of the hospitality during both of our trips.
