****Our Department sincerely apologizes to all of those that we could not bring Santa to visit.  The Blizzard of 2009 halted all of our efforts and we were forced to allow Santa's 8 reindeer to do the honors.  See you next year!!!*****

Beginning Friday, December 18th at 6:00 pm be watching for Santa Claus in a neighborhood near you!  Your volunteer firefighters will be escorting Santa Claus (who will be riding on top a fire engine) through the La Plata area.  Santa will make his rounds through Town and the surrounding areas the entire week.  When you hear the sirens, please come out  to get a candy cane and greet Santa and the firemen.
